Star Pack

So basically Battle Pack 2? This is basically a pointless reprint set unless if Cardcar D is in it. I doubt they'd put that in this set because I imagine that they'd want to save it for another SE or another tin.

Steele - 28. Jan, 20:58

Tour Guide begs to differ

Given konami's history it definitely isnt impossible for Cardcar D to be in here considering Tour Guide was in BP01 before it was released again in CT09 last year. Remember they want it to sell so they will put some good stuff in here!
ShiroRyu - 30. Jan, 17:12

This pack covers the first 20-or-so episodes of Zexal, so we're unlikely to see Cardcar in here. I think they'll more likley save him for the actual Battle Pack 2. This is just to give more access to earlier Zexal anime stuff and make some things legal outside the US like Escuridao.
KarakuriSoldierMdl216 - 28. Jan, 10:50

Cards (semi-)comfirmed:

Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon
Number 34: Terror-Byte
Number 39: Utopia
Number 17: Leviathan Dragon
Arcana Force EX - The Light Ruler
Meklord Emperor Wisel
Elemental HERO Escuridao

ywontuc - 28. Jan, 18:37

It'd be funnier if 17 and 39 weren't in here despite being on the box.
KarakuriSoldierMdl216 - 28. Jan, 23:46

yeah, just a little bit
IvanV101 - 29. Jan, 05:55

so common stardust and black rose.. or star foils are more nice...i want starfoils stardust..

If this is Battle Pack...

AND ONLY IF this is Battle Pack-ish, then Synchros and Fusions won't be in it at all. I don't personally think this is Battle Pack though.

Part 2 is the section that explains the "No Synchros and no Fusions" part. Please read the whole thing, but this will copy-paste will give a sort of quick-answer.

"Fusion Monsters just don’t work that well in sealed pack play, since they often require specific Fusion Material Monsters. Many newer Fusion Monsters only require certain Attributes, instead of specifically-named monsters. But we still can’t guarantee specific Attributes in a randomized assortment of cards like you get from your battle packs."

'Synchro Monsters have similar problems. Even when their Synchro Material requirements are ‘generic’ (like “1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuners”, with no Types, Archetypes, or Attributes listed), there’s still the problem that you need a Tuner. You also need the sum of your Tuner plus your non-Tuner to exactly match your available Synchro Monster’s Level.

This last bit causes two unique problems in sealed pack play. First, your selection of Synchos in sealed pack play will usually be limited to around 4 or 5 monsters."
ShiroRyu - 30. Jan, 17:10

This isn't Battle Pack 2.

This is Star Pack. It's purpose is primarily to give extra access to early Zexal cards and to legalise certain cards (like Escuridao and Wisel) in non-US territories. It's not designed for sealed play like the Battle Pack series is.

Escuridao is confirmed. It's not even up for debate, he is definitely in here.

However, because of the pack's purpose I highly doubt we'll see reprints of synchros like Stardust, Black Rose, etc. in here. Catapult Warrior, Seven Swords Warrior and Shooting Quasar Dragon are possible synchros though, since they're not legal outside the US yet.
IvanV101 - 30. Jan, 00:02

you right, but alots of my friends want them to reprint common also because stardust and other synchros still cost alot of money. they should make CL4 yusie synchro world.. with all the synchro in there lol. so its easy for people to collecting them.

blackwing dragon - 3. Feb, 23:07

this IS NOT a battle pack type pack
they r just continueing the star foil thing out side of the battle pack
so anything is possible
i would like to see stardust and the rest reprinted but im hoping that they wont get reprinted in here stardust and black rose as a common
thats just lame
yes it would be easy to get again
but i would still prefer atleast a super of them over the common or even a rare honestly
but again who knows what kanomi has planed i mean 50 cards in this set and only a hand ful have been released so far
like maybe a dozen so theres still plenty to go
KarakuriSoldierMdl216 - 20. Feb, 03:45

obviously you have never played in TJ, you can show other players your expensive ass trade binder and they will find nothing they are intersted in, but when they see an english stardust they will suck your dick for it
