Krais - 29. Apr, 20:22

when is it coming out??

Dan_the_Dark_Monarch - 29. Apr, 20:38

This sounds really stupid.

there isnt much on it so far, but it sounds alot like gold series with only stuff from the first 3 sets. there probably gonna be some good stuff in here but if its wat im thinkin, its gonna suck!

cybergx - 29. Apr, 21:31

Wait, so this is a reprint pack? Like Dark Revelation? Or is it like the Gold Series? Or is it both? I'm so confused...

FilipGX - 29. Apr, 21:44

???

If this is Retro Pack 2 that means that there were a Retro Pack 1... Does anyone know something [or a link] about Retro Pack 1?

the collector - 30. Apr, 04:46

the collector

I can guarantee you one thing. There is no retro pack 1. Take it from a person who started collecting yugioh since 2002, quit college because of my yugioh-collecting obsession, and also my total yugioh card spending of at least US$22,000-US$23,000 (not including the cost of plane tickets, the cost of housing, taxis, and the cost of food and water spent in this obsession of mine). My total yugioh spending will keep increasing as my Japanese and English(UDE) collection will continue to grow. People think that I'm stupid for putting that much money in cards(pieces of paper) but I like to think of it as a hobby and if you really like something than do it.
iggy112 - 30. Apr, 06:25

It mentions Europe, so maybe it was released in Europe. But I'm not sure.
ojamaking - 26. May, 05:50

it was some European thing that just had like a ppack or two of old sets and a yugi starter deck or something, you can find it on the internet
arcana force 1 the magician - 30. Apr, 01:46

This sounds like it should be from the 70s or 80s because they say retro.

sonic_slicer - 30. Apr, 05:39

*sigh*

this has got to be the stupidest thing i've seen from upperdeck

consider the fact that both dark magician and blue eyes have been reprinted many times, pot of greed and rageki have been banned, mirror force reprinted twice, and heavy storm in almost every structure deck

this sounds bad

but knowing upperdeck, they would probably put one or two cards never released in the states just to sell these packs for some good cash.

wolfchadren - 30. Apr, 09:55

It might contain

I think it will also contain Shonen Jump Promo's and maybe even SJC promo's. Those cards are for duelists in Europe, like me, harder to get. Also the first Sneak Previeuw Promo's weren't released here in Europe. So that's also a possibility.
There was never a Retro Pack 1 by the way. Or it could have been released in only 1 language.
Hope this pack will also have some OCG cards in it that were never released before.

ShiroRyu - 30. Apr, 11:08

Seems like a Special Edition-esque pack to me (3 boosters + 1 exclusive card...), but with special Retro boosters which are just a reprint of key cards from LOB, MRD and MRL/SRL, with a few extras thrown in maybe (Dark Magician Knight and Dark Sage sounds probable)

ScottAtem666 - 30. Apr, 23:32

Retro Pack 1

Retro pack one was that thing called the "Retro gift set" where you got a yugi/kaiba starter, 27 sleeves and 3 boosters =/

cyberzane19 - 6. May, 00:43

im not sure if these cards were released anywhere else besides in japan but they are retro cards the structure decks cards belonging to joey and peagus( spelled wrong) im almost 100% certain that alligator sword dragon was never released in english im pretty sure it was in one of joeys's structure decks though magic arm shield if any of those cards from that deck are in it has to be in this pack well thats what i hope will be included

Myrel - 17. May, 09:08

hm

I could be wrong...but it doesn't seem like this will be released in North America..

isca24 - 18. May, 01:20

It's European exclusive, meaning it will NOT be released in North America, so you are correct.
hamsterworld - 22. May, 02:33

re retro pack

you could import it if you really want it i in all honesty don't even know whats in ti so i wouldn't order it personally.

Cosmos - 2. Jun, 06:47

AT LAST !!

another reprint of solemn judgment ? I wonder how much it's price will be...

is it only consists of these cards, or is it just a part and there'll be more cards ?

Dragon King - 15. Jun, 05:18

What ever happened to Dark Begins Vol 1 ????

This may be good for some people,But i don't like it too much. If we keeping back,we will never go forward. Some of those cards can't even be use anyway.

Cosmos - 16. Jun, 03:27

yeah... I quite agree....
After all... What makes UDE wants to release this after there's DB1 ? Just realized that after Dragon King said that....
Easier cards to get ? Don't think so....
Dragon King - 16. Jun, 14:04

Something Funny!!

One time me and my best friend went to a Tournament. As we dueled with some people. I meet a new kind of Collector of cards. We saw his Card book. Each page was full of the same card. One with Blue Eyes,Marshmallon,E-Hero Electrum,Dark Bribe,Card Trooper and many more. We watch as he started to trade with kids. We asked if we could do some trading too. But he said he was not really trading with anyone. He had many copys of the same card, but he was just Collecting as many copys of the cards as he can get in his life time. I understand peolpe like to Collect cards, but how many do people need to have. If you have 20 First edition Blue-Eyes White Dragons,I can say,you are set for life. My friend was a little mad that the guy was Hording as many card as he could get has hands on. He was very greedy. All he saw was money and nothing else. I think their is a line between Collecting and just grabing every card you can get. Some people don't have the cards they need.

grygera13 - 17. Jun, 12:14

will...?

In the retro pack 2 solemn judgment will be released again. It is a card that everybody want. But the question is: will stores and people will sell this card on e-bay or in stores online?

Dragon King - 17. Jun, 14:58

Most likely both. People need to make money!
hamsterworld - 2. Jul, 23:08

re retro

well i guess ill import a few packs.

DaKareerKilla - 3. Jul, 01:20

48 + 24 + 10 + 8 = 92...so we're looking at 8 Secret rares in this set huh? Should be a nice set, I mean, for those who don't like using Parallel rares, there's a nice alternate rarity for Sangan and Scapegoat. I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess they're gonna use this set to release some other cards previously only released in North America. Secret rare versions of Green Baboon, Defender of the Forest or Exodius the Ultimate Forbidden One would be nice. ^_^

FilipGX - 3. Jul, 19:47

I can't wait for this pack 'cause i need so much some of these cards escpecially Lord of D. and Flute of Summoning Dragons. :)

EvilAzn - 5. Jul, 16:56

Not too bad.

This pack is releasing cards like Cloning, Blast Sphere, Kaibaman, Ancient Lamp, etc in this pack. If i recall these cards were only avaliable through Shenon Jump promos. So finally us non-americans can grab these cards to add to our collections.
The good thing about this pack is that it allows duelists to obtain cards from packs that have been discontinued (ie. Dark Beginnings 1). But the crap thing is that the Gate Guardian peices are now RARE! (wth, they were common in Dark Beginnings!) and the peices of Exodia are rare too! Well, at least Gaia and Flame Swordsman aren't rare too.

arapokemaster - 5. Jul, 22:04

Not a bad set

This is not a bad set.The only difference between this and dark beggining 1 is the Secret rare which in term are the Shonen Jump coupon promos, and the other 5 are the cards too the first 5 sneek previews and Shonen Jump magazines. The bad thing is the rarity difference Raigeki being a Ultra and the Gate Guardian and Exodia pieces being rare. But Solemn is good. The bad thing about Solemn is it might be as hard to get as Mirror Force in Dark Beginning 1 and it's stil hard to get out of all the reprint sets.

DaKareerKilla - 7. Jul, 00:59

Regarding ur comment about Solemn; not necessarily. What you have to remember is that DB1 is a much larger set than RP01, so the chances of pulling certain cards are much worse in DB1. Also, Solemn Judgment is in noway confirmed as a Short Print Super Rare, therefore there's no justification for comparing it to Super Rare Mirror Force.
On the topic of how hard cards are to pull, I hope that the Secret Rares in this set aren't nearly as hard to pull as that of the Main Stream sets. We really do need easier access to good cards, that's not to say they should be easy to get, but they shouldn't be so hard to get that their prices on the Secondary Market skyrocket...
FilipGX - 7. Jul, 11:23

what do your think about the variant card that comes with the 3 Retro Packs, it is going to be only Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon?

shriek - 7. Jul, 21:08

It is Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon.
ijvt2003 - 8. Jul, 23:39

only one question

this pack is only sale in europe ???

FilipGX - 11. Jul, 18:01

yes, it's only for us, europeans :D
hamsterworld - 11. Sep, 03:21

I went to england with my dad and did not see this I do not know why I did not see this?
