The cards are bound to be from Gladiators Assult onwards and they're usually the main/big characters (At the time) cards.

My Predictions:

- Honest
- Elemental Hero Chaos Neos
- Rainbow Neos
- Yubel-Ultimate Nightmare
- Arcana Force EX-The Dark Rules
- Destiny End-Dragoon

Not sure, but they seem logical choices. The monsters that are ghost rares would seem like a good choice because usually they aren't that great (exception being Honest) and they are usually a hot item. Arcana Force would be a good choice because it is the strongest card of a new class of monster (like Rainbow Dragon/Saphire Pegasus were, Plasma Vice, etc.) Destiny End is probably the strongest Destiny Hero as well making it a good choice. Only flaw with that is that Plasma is already in a tin. Who knows, they're just predictions.

I've got a deck full of only the gladiator monsters there great the way they swarm the field and thats the only one i need now.
Only flaw is you hand becomes empty pretty quick.

CB 2008 and GBs

maybe Gb heraklinos would be in the Cb 2008. Its a very rare card and its from gladiator assault. Also it is a very good card for gladiator decks. Also gladiators collection would continuou for a long time. Their is not any ban,too. It would be great to include Il blud or DAD. But for me the best card that it could include is Judgement Dragon, a very rare and expensive card, but it is impossible because of the price. 250$ and it has just come out. OMG. It may include cards from LODT. Lightsworn maybe. I think lightsworn cards would be the best because they are powerfull, they can beat DAD and unfortunately the majority of the cards are ultras,supers and three secrets. Also for the guy's comment for heraklinos, because I also run a GB deck and it goes very well, heraklinos might be broken, but DAD can beat down him in a second. So running a deck without GB heraklinos isn't a bad choise. I say that, because I have GB hearklinos but I rarely summon it. It would be better to have three GB Gyzarus than a GB heraklinos. They are completely broken. Also a valuable card that works perfect is RESCUE CAT, I recommend it.

On another note, that promo pack sounds pretty interesting. I wonder if it might have cards like The Tricky, Dandylion, Valhalla etc. in it. Or maybe cards from the Chaos/Holy packs.

Why do people want a junk card like 'Chimeratech Fortress Dragon' so much??
And some of those cards may yet come out in Shonen Jump this year, such as 'Dandylion'.
I'm personally hoping they'll do 5Ds characters' cards, and pray for 'Neos Wiseman' and 'Elemental Hero Divine Neos', but honestly, it would be wicked if they included TCG-Exclusives, either hard-to-get ones already released or brand-spanking new ones!

it says the same for wave 2 but for Crossroads of chaos Im guessing that we'd get Black Rose Dragon and another one of the 5 dragons.

lol, I hope that we dont get Rainbow Neos, Honest, and Destiny End Dragoon. I just was at the LODT Sneek preview and got Honest ghost rare out of the pack, bought Rainbow Neos Ghost rare($20) and bought Destiny End Dragoon Ultra Rare($35)

By two featured charecters i'm thinking they will only have 4 tins this year.I can prove this theory because on ideal808 they have the 1st wave listed as type A and B tins and the 2nd wave as a and b as well.I guess they took away 2 tins because of the promo pack in the tins.

If you're right, then my guess is that Wave 1 will be Yusei's big guns, 'Stardust Dragon' and 'Nitro Warrior', then Wave 2 would be 'Red Fiend's Dragon' and another of Jack's main guys, probably something from CROC, but whatever.

You still get the limited edition secret rare card.I think the promos might be like the common promos that say limited edition like the ones from the gold series but I'm not sure.Anyway your right that those guys made a great choice.This is a great bargain.I'm also guessing the tournament coupon will be some sort of points certificate so you can get extra boosters from sneak previews and extra champion packs at hobby leagues if you get enough coupons.Or you might be able to redeem them to get promos like the naruto and bleach rapper redemption.

Doesn't The Duelst Genesis supposed to come out near August? We still get a peak, but I believe that it will be like 2 or 3 weeks before the set comes out. Crossroads of Chaos isn't supposed to come out in 2 or 3 months after these tins come out. I'm happy about this.

Hopefully, they aren't overpriced. These tins will sell like crazy. It will be possible to get the whole set now waY before the packs are released. But this gets me thinking... Will there still be Sneak Previews after this? Or even TCG exclusives?

It wouldn't make sense for UDE to do that. If they released DAD as a tin secret then they'd lose out on a lot of money. Added to the fact that the metagame is bad enough with so many DAD decks, if it was a tin promo, practically EVERYONE would be running it. So it would be a very stupid move on UDE's part to do that.
On the other hand, they MIGHT release it in the 9-card promo pack, but getting one will be like 1 in 50 tins or something, so the price wouldn't drop on it by much, if any.
Besides that I would bet on the promo pack being all OCG cards that we've not got yet, maybe some Synchro stuff to promote the new set.

i think its gonna be in one tin , they had rainbow dragon and volcanic doomfire in a tin so its logical to release jugdment dragon too. i want to finish a lightsworn deck just need 3 jugdment dragon xD only that but here i seeing if i can get the 3, here cost around $145 US DLLS one, 3 lylas, 3 celestias, 3 solar rechearge, 3 wulf, 3 rykos, 3 aurkus, 3 of the traps super got all that for $180 Dlls almost the price of 1 dragon u.u and they gave me all the rares and commons for free.. u.u

Um, how do you get Judgment Dragon being a tin promo from having Rainbow Dragon + Doomfire in tins? Rainbow Dragon was nice but nowhere near as broken as Judgment, and Doomfire hardly gets played at all, even in Volcanic decks.
In any case the 4 (only 4..?) tin cards have been announced already - Stardust and Red Dragon Archfiend (i wish they swapped archfiend and dragon around, would be much cooler) for Wave 1 and Black Rose Dragon + Turbo Warrior for Wave 2. So 4 of the cards that will likely be Secrets in the set are coming out in the tins, which is a nice change.

I want all 4 tins because synchro monsters are strong and go into a deck quite easily if you have the right tuner cards.

I mean, it's not a horrible idea, but I think that considering the OCG's getting a "Get all the TCG Exlcusive cards easy" pack, we deserve something similar. But ofcourse, we wouldn't get anything like that, bcoz unlike Konami, UDE hate YGO Players (or atleast non-American YGO players).

One thing I hate!

I always looked forward to the new tins,but the only thing I hate is all the the packs that sucked this year for me,I have to buy them again!! The promo pack is a good start.What they should do is full the tin with cards that have never been seen in the US before. It would be cool if they would put about ten Secret rares in it. I Would pay more to have it and i feel a lot of people would too.
Gladiator's Assault sucked for me this year.I kept getting all the Gladiator Beast all the time and no one wanted them! The same thing with the Cloudian monters.I could not even give them alway.
So now i have to pay 20$ to have to live through that again!! I wish they would full the tins with something,we would like to have.I Was hopeful it would of had Dark Armed Dragon or Yubel - The Ultimate Nightmare in this years tin. I'm not going to paying 300$ of a card.

As far as what you pull in the packs, it's just the luck of the draw (no pun intended). But UDE won't put more into the tins than what they have already, all they care about is how much profit each product they produce will make. They seldom give a damn about the people who actually buy the product, as let's face it, Yu-Gi-Oh is distributed by UDE, it was not made by UDE, therefore they won't show as much interest in rewarding players with good stuff (the exception being if you happen to live in North America, in which case Shonen Jump reward you with SJCs and Promo cards).

But I could really go on forever, explaining why UDE won't give us the stuff we want/need. As for the comments made about my earlier post, the whole "re" thing was just a case of monkey see monkey do, and the actual comment I made was not intended to be disrepectful, I was just being sarcastic.

For 300$,i what my card to sing and tell Jokes!! I love playing Yu-Gi-Oh,but any way you look at it. It's just Paper!! Many of my friends agree with me. I think their is a big wig in the Shadows of Konami,who make up the prices on the cards. How else can you explain why stupid or not so great cards cost so much and cards that should cost more are not.I feel the game is no longer for kids like people,say it is. For 300,i can buy two boxs of packs. My friends and i may do that someday. Put our money together and buy one.

I live in the US and it's just a guess. One time me and a friend asked for a box. The guy said it cost 120$ for a new one. If we wanted a old one,it would cost around 75$ or so. I guess it is based on were you get your cards from.

Stardust Dragon and 5D Promo Monster

So, pretty much. There's no point in trying to get Stardust or any of the other good Synchro monsters then. No point in buying the Duelist Genisis or Crossroads of Chaos except for the Tuners and other cards. Good thing, if anything.

Hello

Hi i am new here. First i do think that it would be good to get the tins of them and the ones from the sets. The reason i say that is if you collect them than you would wont both right. And besides the ones in the set will be worth more than the ones in the tin. I would say that it would be a good idea to increase the price of your deck and collection to get both. Also is there a place to discuss decks?

How old are the people that comment here. Way of topic but normally from when i was in school people would not play yugioh or admint it. And the people that did, besides me, was under 15. My exgirl friend played and she quit after she turned 15. Umm...I am 19 going on 20. And i guess you could consider this a study ?.

Well, I guess you could. Half of the people that play are 15 or less. A quarter could be people like your age, 16 or higher. The remaining quarter could be kids like 10 years and younger. Honestly, I don't see why the still have the game geared towards little kids. There are WAY more teenagers playing the game then little kids...

true. They change the cards like Black Magician and Black Magincian Girl to Dark Magician and Dark Magician Girl and say it was religion things and kids dont know that and than they change stuff like Dark Maigican Girls clothing think kids will figure that out. I think that they want to say it is for kids but when there are older people who play it. I honestly think that Japan is better than America because they dont care as much as we do. America is what my brother would call my mom "An over-protective Baboon." But I just wish that people would lighten it up and just do what you do and belive what you belive instead of doing what other people do and belive what other people belive. Umm...If you play yugioh and you go to school, college, than admit it and find your true friends. Meaning prep and cheerleaders and people who play sports dont be afraid and share what you like with those you call friends, i guess that could go twards everyone. When i went to school everyone knew that i played yugioh and liked Japan and liked anime. People picked on me some. But only the people that didnt like me. My friends stayed true to me. But do what you do as long as you know what you are doing. Really off topic. I am like DR. Phill. LOL. I hope not.

If you go to ideal808 there is a card that is cool looking but it is 6,999.95 to buy but retailed at 7,999.95. It is a tournament promo. I guess it is for a tournament winner. I need to get going to tournamnts if it is.

In these tins there is a Token Pack (a.k.a. 3 Card Pack) that contain 3 Token Promo Cards (of possible 9) and they can be used as Tokens in the game as you already know, but we still don't know what type of Tokens they will be (ex. Sheep Token. Ojama Token, Skybalaster Token...). So I think this will help you.

Thanks a lot FilipGX. Those token cards may seem quite interesting. I think that they may be 4 Scape Goats or 2 Stray Lamb, the 3 Ojamas, the 2 different dandelion tokens (fluff token white and yellow), Skyblaster.

It may be those or it may not. I hope for scape goat tokens and fluff token. Thanks again FilipGX, also you said that you wanted to see the promo card mention above that worths $6999.95. I will give it but i will say this i am saving up to buy all 3 Emperor of Lightning. So if any one buys them and when i get the money i will buy it from you. I know sounds selfish but i want them and i am a full on collector. But if someone buys one or all than DO NOT TOUCH THEM BARE HANDED IT IS A STUPID THING TO DO AND YOU RUIN ANY CARD TOUCHING IT BARE HANDED AND THE PRICE GOES DOWN AND YOU WILL BE STUPID IF YOU DO THAT TO A CARD WORTH 7999.95. BY THE WAY THAT 6999.95 IS TO BUY IT. Also any one own the cards that where released be for like the one of a kind Gemini Elf or Kuriboh. Any one of a kind or two of a kind or three of a kind cards. I dont get whats so strong about that monster. It cant attack your opponent directly and even if you attack your opponent directly and win then you would still win 90%. It's like Victory Dragon. Also you need to tribute 3 thunder type monster, how often do you get three thunder monster on your side of the field and draw the Thunder Emperor. So im not really interested in buying or having that card at all, i just wanted to see what the card looks like thats all. Also what i just said, i didnt mean it in a mean way and im sorry cybermaster7 for ruining your chance in getting that card.

NO you didnot ruin it stupid me did. Its is just something that i want to do. See my collction is 3 of every card and a 4th to try to get signed by the creator, might not do. And all of the ones that are 1, 2 or 3 of a kinds. And besides doing that would not be that hard. Hey you use elemental Heros right. Elemental_Hero11. I am just carious. Me i use all. To my friends i am good at useing them all. My favs are Dark, Warrior, Life Gains, Light, E-Heros, Direct Damage, Cyber Dragons, Roid, and Spellcasters. One thing i like to do is make 2 decks compatible for each other like light and dark. Life Gain and Direct Damage. It is something I like to do.

well most of the cards i have in my deck are mostly elemental heroes but my deck is based on warriors (i think). Well all of my monsters are warriors except 2: Penguin Soldier and Frostosaurus, their both very strong and good so i kept them in my deck. But my favourite cards are Elemental Heroes. I've nearly got all of the Elemental Heroes, 5 more to go. Good Luck on saving your money and buying those cards.

Thank you both CyberMaster7 and Elemental_Hero_11. I'm not going to buy Emperor of Lightning 'cause of you (if you want it that much :)) an also it cannot be used in a Duel. Emperor of Lightning is just like: Testament of the Arcane Lords, Xexex, Chimaera...
Also you (Elemental Hero 11) wanted to know what type is this site, it's european.

BTW I also have Elemental Hero Deck but I'm not focusing on it, I'm focusing on Gladiator Beast, Crystal Beast, Destiny Hero and Dragon.

Will we have to wait long to see which Tokens we get (I laughed when I said "Token" out loud teehee)? I was just thinking that maybe we'll get a different set of tokens in the other 2, and that those will include all those tokens from Crossroads...
Also, why is there 2x PTDN and only 1x LODT? Is that a typo, because that doesn't make sense to me...

PTDN because they are rare as heck now. If you find any, it's sure to be scaled already. A booster box of PTDN now runs for over $100 because it's so rare. UDE knows if they include packs of their hottest set, then people would be more willing to buy them in multiples.

Anyways, awesome promos for tins. I plan on getting 3 of each tin.

Wow.

I picked up 4 of these tins. 2 Stardust and 2 Red. They rock like whoa!
I pulled 3 Secret rares. "The Splendid Venus" "Dark Lord Zerato" and "Avenging Knight Parshath"! Thats almost 1 Secret per tin! And I pulled an Ultimate "Dark Hunter", and an Ultra "Metal Reflect Slime". Plus 4 Super Rares.
So yeah. I recomend these tins to every player!

Great Tins

Other Tokens?

Heres the deal. Theyve released what 7/9 of the tokens will be. Ive bought 4 tins, 2 of each aswell. I got all tokens they show, except Raviels token, that means out of 12 token i couldnt pull a 1/7(short-print anyone?). I say 1/7 because they have not released what the other 2 tokens will be, and as far as I know, noone has pulled them. This says to me, 1 of 3 things.
-EXTREMLY short print
-Token 8 and 9 not released till second wave tins
-EXTREMLY rotten luck.

Anyone that knows abit about this, plz write back.

Tokens

I* know for a fact now, that it iis what I thought, there are basicaly token packs 1.0 and 2.0. 1.0 is first tins, contains tokens 1-7, and 2.0 is in second wave, includes tokens 1-9. My second theory was also confirmed, the raviel token is actualy ashort-print, or in lesser print than the remaining.

I feel so bad now, my friend and I picked up about six tins so far, a playset of Stardust and a playset of Red Dragon and are pulls, well mine were horrid. Besides the Montage Dragon, I pulled a super. A SUPER! My friend pulled an ultimate Stardust out of his Stardust tin (LOL) but otherwise, meh.

I feel like Charlie Brown now, everyone else is like, "I got an Honest!" "I got Venus!" "I got Zerato! Hey, Leonaxium, what you pull?"

"Me, I got a rock. :(" LOL at myself.

I'm just going to wait for the exclusive ones to get a playset of Goyo or Tinyo (props to ShiroRyu), but with my luck, I'll pull a playset of Stardust out of those. So it's all in good spirit.

So I'm happy. At least I've got 1 'Curse of Vampire' and 1 'Mezuki' for my half-assed Zombie deck (I really need the Zombie World SD just to have one that can WIN once in a while...). I'm also glad I finally got packs of LODT and TDGS, since it's clear our Wal-Mart will never sell them (also, a lot of people have been stealing the PTDN packs). eBay for me...

My Collector Tin Pulls

For starters I come from Australia and my Stardust Tin was $50 bucks at EBgames. I had an ok pull:
TDGS:1x Psychic Overload (ULTRA)
1x Herald of Orange Light (RARE)
1x Fighting Spirit (RARE)
LOTD:1x Industrial Strength Battery Dude (RARE)
POTD:1x Yubel, the Ultimate Nightmare (SECRET)
1x Golden Flying Fish (SUPER)
Overall, I had one decent card and the rest were crap. First of all in Japan Psychic Overload was a rare which makes my TDGS ultra a rare and also its the worst ultra to get. And seriously Golden Flying Fish sucks and I can't believe I got a Fighting Spirits card. I'mma just buy my cards off ebay...
