I assume that this Retro Pack 2 is gonna be like last time "Exclusive for Europe" if so then that means that North America should be getting a "Dark Legacy 2" about 5-8 months after, at least we hope so.

No, I want to say that only America got it in DL1, but Europe didn't, and because RP02 is Europe-only I hope for Blizzard Dragon, and what's the 2nd print? There is only 1 print - DL1.

Blizzard Dragon was originally one of the three promo cards included with the Card Almanac for the Nintendo DS, making its DL1 incarnation its second printing.

Blizzard Dragon in DL1 was its first North American printing.

It was the first Reprinting of the TCG version of the card, which was a Europe/Australia Exclusive DS Title outside of Japan.

Konami is going to mess up so bad in the next year... I already know it...

I hope this set will turn out more like Dark Legends with GOOD reprints rather than annoying ones like the previous Retro Pack ideally Dimensional Prison, Burden Of The Mighty and Mind Control reprints instead of SJ Magazine Promo reprints like before.

I think...

this is Dark Legends but because it's going to be released in Europe they change it a bit and call it a Retro Pack again. So every Retro Pack will only be released in Europe and every Dark Legends pack will be released in the US. That's what i think though. Hope that if it's the same they at least change the packs that get a reprint in it though. Cause the first Retro Pack already had those sets reprinted.

Hopefully this will have European release of Gorz in. Although they'll probably make it Secret in the set, rather than a promo, because UDE like to rip us off lol.
I still don't get why they released Copycat as secret in the first one, and then common in the deck a few months (or was it weeks?) later.

Anyway I would like to see some more SJ reprints that we never got, but also some other cool cards like Mind Control, Dark Bribe, and some common reprints of Foolish Burial and Trade In.
Since RP01 had Yugi/Joey/Kaiba/Pegasus cards, RP02 could have Marik/Bakura/Mai cards, with some of Kaiba/Yugi/Joey's later cards? They could even print Cathedral of Nobles/Mystical Beast Serket, even though they're banned.

they were probably imported, like some shops over here have started getting dark legends in. (im in the UK for the record)
Makes one wonder what the point is in releasing two series of boosters. Why not just one booster which is a combination of retro pack and dark legends? Like with the subscription promos in (NOT secret rare for the love of god), and the extra non-retro stuff of dark legends?
In any case, what is the point of most of them anyway? Sure it's nice for us in europe to finally get subscription promos other than importing them, and there are some cards in dark legends the US hadn't got yet like Blizzard Dragon, but why not just put those small amount of cards in a 3rd premium pack or something? It'd be much easier than wasting our time with pulling ultra rare Gate Guardians or whatever.

Junk and more Junk. Luckily I didn't get the 1st Retro Pack because, I knew it was a complete crock. I got the Dark Legends instead =).

How on earth is Swift Gaia an appealing card?? Also, Archfiend of Gilfer is hitting Europe now? Wow. A little late don't you think? I feel sorry for the Europeans if these become the supposed 'Secret Rares".

However, it would be nice if they made cards easier to obtain and added 2 rares per pack or something like that. Or perhaps, 1 holo per 2 packs.

They did release Swift Gaia in Warrior's Triumph, but it's pretty old, and none of the three sources of it have been in print for quite some time as far as I'm aware. It's more than worthy. I'm hoping this one will be Super. We have Common, Ultra and Secret already.

If Konami honestly expect that someone actually bought this, I´d rather prefer UDE back XD. I mean, why wouls I buy a retro pack 2 expecting to get and Light and darkness dragon when i can buy it on-line?

Shouldn't "Dreadscythe the Harvester" be "Dreadscythe Harvester"? As in the Jump promo? Or is it something new? :s

Anyway the secret lineup looks rather bad.
- Dreadscythe Harvester
- Archfiend of Gilfer
- Harpie's Pet Dragon
- Victory Dragon (banned)
- Ring of Destruction (banned)
and that's only half of them. :s

On the other hand, some decent cards are easier to get:
- Royal Decree as a rare, very nice
- Injection Fairy Lily in Ultra is vaguely interesting.
- Oh wait, that's it.

Oh hold on, you can get Decree as a common in a structure deck anyway. And IFL's got a pretty low price tag too. So yeah, this seems pretty disappointing.

Bets down on Light and Darkness as a secret rare, because apparently guys in konami forget we can import him from the US, as is evidenced by the bizarre secret rare harpie's pet dragon.
Besides, Ultra LaDD looks nicer than the Secret one.

Plus why would the unban Yata-Garasu? Why do they bother throwing in banned cards that will likely never be unbanned?

Also, did anyone else see the little update there? LaDD and BESD are both Secret. I thought LaDD would be, and I reckon no-one will bother trying to get this when you can get one on eBay for £2.50. Blue-Eyes Shining as Secret is ridiculous. He's way too difficult to play (especially with Cyber-Stein being banned) and his effect is practically nothing anyway. Even if Stein wasn't banned, you wouldn't play this, ever, when you could just do a Cyber-End/Cyber-Twin + Limiter OTK.

Would you buy this trying to get LaDD when you have an equal chance of getting BESD, Harpie's Pet Dragon or Victory Dragon, and you could get a LaDD off the internet for less than the price of a pack of these? I didn't think so. I hope Konami make up for it with some decent stuff in the Turbo Packs.

Why the hell even make this set? There arent even any good cards in the set besides Spy, Book, Bottomless, and UWS. The secrets have no value, suck, and are easy to get anyways.

Now the Harpie Secret would look pretty ballin tho 0-0.

Since they errat'ed Baboon he is pointless, cant pull the Creature Swap combo anymore. So we get reprints of magazine cards, why not Rai Oh, Barboras, Traegoedia (even tho it just came out), or just something decent.

Hmmm...i have thought a little bit about that. I don't think, that they want to make a set for the kids, that they can get ya olde cards, no i think, they wanna make a set, that every "important" card has a four-digit set name, RP02 and not something like PSV or DB1...

You have to see...they don't want to help Anti-Meta-Players get on tops of the tournament...why?...cause if we get to that point, people may think of their really expensive deck of useless cards and could stop playing meta...

DPYG isn't that worse...now i have a Mirror Force ("Ich bin ein taubes Nüsschen yeah, du bist..."...^^)...and the "new" (japaneses old) artworks look pretty good. And now newer players could play TragoGadget, without searching for old Gadgets^^...I'm a little happy^^...

If this is the retro pack 2, then why is Light and Darkness Dragon inside the pack? All the cards are meant to be from the old series but this card is from Yu-Gi-Oh GX.
