Stardust Overdrive - Special Edition

Stardust Overdrive Special Edition combines 3 packs of the latest booster, Stardust Overdrive, with 1 of 2 powerful and highly sought-after cards: “Charge of the Light Brigade” or “Tempest Magician”!

“Charge of the Light Brigade”: Originally released as a TCG World Premiere card in The Duelist Genesis, this card is a cornerstone of the Lightsworn Deck.

“Tempest Magician”: This powerful Synchro Monster first appeared in Crossroads of Chaos and has the ability to use Spell Counters to inflict damage directly to your opponent.

Both “Charge of the Light Brigade” and “Tempest Magician” have previously been available only as hard-to-find Secret Rare cards. Now, Duelists everywhere can get their hands on these cards, with Stardust Overdrive Special Edition.

Stardust Overdrive. It has such a great name to it. It sounds like the SE's could have a Honest or Judgment Dragon in it, huh? (yeah, I know, wishful thinking but it would be NICE!)

Honest maybe, but I'm certain we won't see JD. Especially when that's currently one of the most expensive cards, and the fact that they just released the Turbo pack and everyone's buying the shit out of those to find the ulti JD.

I think there's not gonna have Honest and JD on SE....They gonna be printed again on GLD3 to sell GLD3...thats a quite sure...

Tough call

Though I really hope this does have Honest, I can't really guess what'd be from LODT that they'd put in here... I shudder at 'AFX - The Dark Ruler', but any of the URs would make sense (they're not majorly powerful, and are just as useful as Allure was before, so I'd lean more towards Solar Recharge).
The second card could be of the same category, but it cold be another like Red-Eyes Wyvern, but that's tough to say too.

Unlikely to happen since they're both easy to get, but I would like Jain and Beckoning Light. Full holo Lightsworn deck sounds nice. :3

On a more realistic note, I'm guessing it'll be either Lyla, Celestia or Ehren for one. It might be E-Hero Prisma for the other, as like Red-Eyes Wyvern it was quite hard to get hold of and is rather useful.

If any card it should be reprinted Blackwing - Armor Master or Blackwing - Kalut the Moon Shadow.

As for the second card it should be a card that hasn't been released in North America yet like, Darkness Destroyer or Gallis the Star Beast.

My guess is a LS support card (COTLB or LS Monk), Emergency Teleport, SS Support (Hands of the SS), And/or a card not yet release in america(Like a card from Tag force 3)

- Ehren

- Tualatin

Ehren I think is the most anticipated, everyone seems to think it'll be in there.
Fossil Dyna is certainly likely, as is Tualatin.
Charge is unlikely, if it gets reprinted it'll probably be when gold 3 comes out (if it does). Hand of Six Sam would be nice, one of my friends is trying to build a Six Sam deck and the only thing he needs now is Hands, so he'd be happy with that. Still I reckon if Charge, E-Tele or Hand were in an SE, it wouldn't be this one, it'll be next one as we've just got on to LODT reprints.
I still reckon Prisma will be one of the two since it's been out ages without a reprint and is also a popular card for Glad Beasts.

heck i don't waste my time with commons. I'm a collector so if its not at least super rare i don't bother with it. and there's no way i'm spending 50+ on a the secrets from GLAS either.

although to be honest what i really want is doom caliber knight. shame its only availbel as shonen jump tournament prize card. or was anyway.

If you were a dedicated collector I'm sure you'd find a way to get the GLAS secrets (trading? plus they're not that expensive, especially since they've been reprinted).

Doomcaliber knight would be a big no, especially with turbo pack doomcaliber fetching a good £50 or more. Prisma seems quite likely in fact since Konami aren't really making any money of it (since it's out of print) and it's a popular card that's been quite hard to get. Ergo, a great selling point Konami can make money from.

BUdget LS ftw?

Charge was 60 each, 180 dollars there.

Honest was about 50, 150 dollars there.

Recharge was like 10 each, 30 dollars there.

So basically the only hard cards to get in LS now is JD, Ehren and Plaguespreader.

You can soon make LS for under 400 bucks. . SCORE.
