NOT saying Konami is doing a bad job, but UD did really well with tournaments and so forth. Look at the yugioh web site and the lack of regionals...i have nothing in my area (nothing even close). and before some of you start with the "yugioh is just to be played for fun" thing, its nice to go to a larger event like a regional to meet other players and see what's being played at places other than your local hobby shop....also, price and availability were always determined by Konami...they're finally starting to listen to the players and their frustration with prices and lack of ocg to tcg cards

Next,i am so glad to hear this. I have been trying to get one for my Fairy deck for months. Everyone of them is a light type,so he would help big time! Everything from Kuribon to Arcana Force EX-The Light Ruler,their all good...lol!
This will be AWSOME!!!
O,and this will give everyone a second chance at getting cards like Dark Armerd Dragon and more........

Cheap honest and cheap cotb. I think we will see more and more lightsworns being played even by the poor people. And that means only thing. Finally there going to limit something on the next ban list. I hope so atleast and hopefully dark light will come out because holy light is coming out to.

Hmmm...

I love this idea of Honest coming out BUT I'm concerned about the popularity around Yu-Gi-Oh!

I want Yu-Gi-Oh! to last but, will this be the thing that drops off half its players or hauls in more players? From my perspective, it is really hard to bring someone in as opposed to keeping someone who has a vague interest already in the game.

I live in Australia so I might not be able to tell what it like in the US. But, her I see a lesser crowd nowadays and it's merely just regulars attending my hobby store. I want to see new people for once.

So for Yu-Gi-Oh! to live on we need more people to come in and enjoy the game we love. Long live Yu-Gi-Oh!

Looks like LS have just gotten yet another boost. Hopefully they will be hit by the next ban list and it will make the game even all around. This format will be pretty interesting to play against. Hope my deck is ready, lol.

Boost for sure

Now nearly everyone can play with some high-level cards considered "staples" so that we're all able to play on a more even playing field, but only the most skilled with a touch of luck will be on top still. If anyone leaves the game because of this, it would have to be based on them doubting their own skil.
And come on, not many people have Judgment Dragon, and those that do tend to have more than 2 copies.

Maelstrom is right no yugioh card should be more then 10 dollars in my eyes anyway yugioh is meant to have fun not who has the most priciest cards. I was waiting for honest to be easy to get since UD turned him secret. Good job Konami just hurry and bring the rest of the ocg cards.

terrible news

I miss UDE and im far from rich. They allowed us to actually gain from playing, spending money and actually being good at this game. What terrible news that some of the last few high end cards are getting reprinted. Its just easier access to good cards for terrible players to luck sack with =-(

The only reason why i miss UDE is becuase of the torunaments there were a lot more around. The game is however more fun now because of cheap prices that are unlike UDE's unfair pricing. Crush at 300, Honest at 75, and all that fun stuff. Konami is basically replacing UDE's scams with benefits. although what they will do with Brionic has yet to be questioned and will ultimately proove if they were better than UDE

And why exactly is that? They are not broken, they are not reliable enough and they are not winning as much as the other main decks. Add to that the support from SOVR and they may even get better. Plus, Honest can be used in many decks, and will allow casual duelists to experiment with other decks and new ideas, whlst allowing more experienced duelists to easily obtain the best cards from the game without breaking the bank.

...that Konami is manipulating the lists to make money. I wish they would quit this crap and start running the game honestly. Ban the old, overpowered cards and force us to use their weaker versions. The game needs to change.

To inform you all:

UDE has never had any say in card rarities. They were only the DISTRIBUTORS of the TCG. Everything was printed under Konami, who shipped cases of product to UDE to distribute in the US. UDE then sold the cases to retailers and hobby shops, and ran the major tournaments.

Konami decided to up DAD from rare to SCR, and JD from ultra to SCR, and all that other d-baggery. Not UDE.

@Frank...yes, KONAMI had 3 months to see how popular DAD was in Japan, then up it to SCT rare to make tons of money selling packs and such. They've done this with many of the cards. Konami finally heard the bitching and complaining about how expensive many of the cards were outside of Japan and are finally making them more attainable...

Can't see why Honest would be hit by ban...IF they do, would be limit to 2.

i dont see honests getting restricted as the last time i dueled someone with honests he used all 3 of them at once and still took 100 damage from my avatar (how do people not understand always 100 points higher means if you use 3 honests avatar will still be 100 points higher) not to mention angel 07 who can stop all monster effects from activating (continuous effects work) there are so many ways the funniest is dna transplant they activate 3 honests you dna transplant to fire type so funny.

Finally I can rebuild Batterymen.

I have used Batterymen since LODT, but I always felt like Honest was an essential part of the deck, but I couldnt afford to get them before. But now I can take my batterymen to Regs, not for the actual tournament but rather for the Win a Mats thing...oh and I cna build Counter Fairies now too...YAY!!!
