Absolute Powerforce

Absolute Powerforce
Absolute Powerforce

The power to win more Duels than ever can now be yours with Absolute Powerforce booster packs.

Look for your own copy of Jack Atlas’ “Majestic Red Dragon” – the latest and greatest upgrade for The Five Dragons. You can also Summon Yusei’s “Drill Synchron” to let all your Warriors inflict piercing Battle Damage and let you draw a card every turn!

These incredible new cards used by The Signers, and many more, are matched (possibly out-matched!) in Absolute Powerforce by the latest monsters of The Dark Signers. Leading the charge are Rex Goodwin’s Dragons of the Sun and Moon – Inti and Quilla – used in his climactic Duel against Yusei, Jack, and Crow. You can also find Goodwin’s whole supporting cast of ancient Inca cards, including “Oracle of the Sun,” “Temple of the Sun,” and “Apocatequil.”

Absolute Powerforce also includes 2 of the dastardly Dark Synchro Monsters: “Underground Arachnid” and “Zeman the Ape King.” On TV, Dark Synchro Monsters have special rules requiring negative monster Levels, but these special versions have been converted into the standard Synchro Monster rules, to make them easier for you to Summon!

From the current battles between The Signers and The Dark Signers, Absolute Powerforce also reaches back in time to bring you two of Yugi’s most beloved monsters from the original Yu-Gi-Oh! Battle City storyline: “Berfomet” and “Chimera the Flying Mythical Beast.” Never before released, you can at last add these monsters to your collection of Yugi’s favorite cards.

Are you tired of having your monsters, Spells, and Traps destroyed by your opponent, leaving you open to a direct attack? No longer! With Absolute Powerforce, you don’t have to rely just on the cards on your field for defense. “Ogre of the Scarlet Sorrow” and “Battle Fader” can be Special Summoned directly from your hand when your opponent attacks you directly. “Battle Fader” will even end the Battle Phase the moment it’s Summoned, giving you complete protection from attack.

In addition to all of that, Absolute Powerforce contains new Koa’ki Meiru, X-Sabers, Ritual Monster cards, Reptiliannes, Spellcasters, Machines, and more. And in a special treat for long-time Duelists, an old favorite has returned: It’s time to dust off your “Necrovalley” and add 4 brand new cards to your Gravekeeper’s Deck!

This booster set absolutely has more power than any set should ever have. Don’t miss out!

Absolute Powerforce contains 100 cards:

48 Common Cards (8:1)
20 Rare Cards (1:1)
14 Super Rare Cards (1:5)
10 Ultra Rare Cards (1:12)

BrandonMurrayBMM - 3. Oct, 02:38

First!!!!!!!

Cool More Psychic/Ritual Cards.

marucho8d7 - 3. Oct, 03:11

everything about the art screams phantom darkness

kyuubinoyouko - 3. Oct, 03:23

Ritual Devil Curse Enchanter

This could be quite interesting, that's for sure... I haven't even seen the full set of cards in Japan!

An Onyx Mouse - 6. Oct, 09:05

No joke.

Releaser and Curse Enchanter pulling out Garandolph will just be -sick-. Any monster with less than 2500 ATK is destroyed, your opponent is restricted to Normal Summons, and even if they've got Stardust out they can't do anything to stop you.

I'm still curious about what the other Ritual Devil will do, though...I'm still sticking to my guess of a minor (or maybe not so minor?) ATK boost. Would admittedly work nice with a few things.
SavrCosmicFighter - 3. Oct, 05:17

more Sabers and Koa'ki Meiru

nice more cards to boost my decks....they said something about a nex X-saber Synchro...i hope its awesome like Gatmuz is (Gottoms sounds so lame XD)

Forrenz - 3. Oct, 15:42

Pretty cool.

They haven't even mentioned such cards in the OCG list yet, so I can't help wondering if they're TCG-X cards...
bherrell2 - 3. Oct, 06:45

Rituals, EBI, and Physics

More support? really? MORE??

Forrenz - 3. Oct, 15:40

"Physics"?

There are cards that help you understand how evrything works in relation to each other? Weird... LOL
ShiroRyu - 3. Oct, 15:57

I'd go for some physics cards lol. Neutral Nucleon FTW :P
arcana force 1 the magician - 3. Oct, 16:27

It says more earthbound immortals but they already came out with all the immortals so what E.I card could it be?

Forrenz - 5. Oct, 18:09

Probably just support cards

Although there are about 4 or so geoglyphs not used, I think they mean more EBG support.
Onzee - 3. Oct, 17:43

hope for koaki meirus

i hope in this set koakis will have the suport they need to balance their deck and gain a strategie..(they dont have it)..

Kages - 4. Oct, 02:47

Does the BW monsters stops in the Last pack? This have no more BW related cards?

The lastest pack with 4 full holo instead of 2 is ancient prophecy! If stardust overdrive have 4 full holo in a box than this one will also have! Wondering why they are doing 4 full holo instead of 2? And also they did one rare or one rare and holo. Now 4 full per box, does that mean it is easy to get the full holo now? Like Vayu, you have 4 chances to get it per box, if you lucky!
Forrenz - 5. Oct, 18:13

I think I get what you're saying...

I'm pretty sure some of those cool BF support cards used between Crow and the old man in the junkyard are in here.
STA DUST SURASHU BUSTAAA - 14. Oct, 08:11

ummm sooo...

Instead of wondering whats going to come out... why not check the ocg spoiler list? its going to be like 95% the same except for those tcg exclusives and other cards that are going to be released so the tcg can catch up to the ocg.

ShinobiPhoenix - 14. Oct, 23:05

Well...

A: there is no full spoiler of ABPF yet.

B: 95% the same? 95 % of 100 would mean 5 cards are different. You know they add 20 cards right? So... NO. It's 100 percent the same as the OCG excluding, rarity changes, the TCG-Ex and OCG-Add-Ins and 65% the same with them (15% being rarity changes).
STA DUST SURASHU BUSTAAA - 16. Oct, 22:34

umm shinobiphoenix...

Im referring to the CURRENT spoiler list. I know there inst a full one out yet but currently there IS one. Just not everything but still something so people Dont have to wonder completely what will be in it.

And when I said that the set will be 95% the same, I meant the set AS A WHOLE. And as a brief estimation, since you will prolly get more ocg before only exclusive cards.IE its a given fact you will have the same cards included as the OCG APF, but the 20 tcg exclusives make the set only slightly different.

Jack Atlas - 7. Nov, 07:50

Yay

More Jack cards ^_^

DivineVictory - 7. Nov, 21:53

Drill and Draw!

Drill Sync/Drill Warrior is what I have my eye on! These guys are gonna rock!

DivineVictory - 11. Nov, 18:24

IF

Man, go look at the OCG spolier list...

If this set is carbon coy of that list, this pack is going to be...

EPIC

Gravekeeper's Support

Wait. FOUR new Gravekeeper's cards? That means one is a TCG Exclusive!

Forrenz - 15. Nov, 04:34

True!

That's pretty cool of them; Gravekeeper's have always deserved the support, now thy're getting it.
SavrCosmicFighter - 14. Nov, 17:40

wait a sec...there is already 1 X-Saber Synchro in this set but the info we had b4 this said there would be one in TCG prior the spoiler of the set..so does this mean we will see a 2nd X-Saber Synchro!?

Forrenz - 15. Nov, 04:57

Cards 001-080 are... Awesome!

I'm just.. floored, after reading the full list. Godwin's cards just flat-out rock (LV8 Synchros are now our easiest-access playthings! /Assault Modes are far more cost-effective!), the two Spider cards are the control cards they needed (Change of Destiny is good tech too), Black Rose Witch is only a gamble if she's the only card on your Field, Bad End Queen Dragon is great as CB tech (shame Misty's Con. Spells didn't make the cut when their effects affected both players...), the Reptile cards rule (with Viper Reborn being a wicked card to combo with Vennominon, then to bring out Vennominaga)....
Oh, this set's just so epic...

ShiroRyu - 16. Nov, 01:35

Berformet and Chimera? Seriously? While I have been waiting for these to arrive to the TCG, Retro Pack and Yugi Duelist Pack would have been better sets for them to debut in. Ah well. I hope they are either common or rare, Stardust Overdrive did well with having no absolute rubbish secrets, and I'd like to hope that will continue.
Also, Majestic Red Dragon? Seriously? Majestic Fiend Dragon would have made much more sense (seivaa->Majestic, demon->Fiend). Plus Majestic Red Dragon just sounds rather, I don't know, boring? Anyway I'm not going to get into a rant as it's just a name and me ranting won't change it anyway.
I like how there will be at least 1 TCG Necrovalley card by the looks of this too.
Anyway that's all I have to say for now. I've already seen the OCG spoiler and it looks pretty cool. Here's hoping we'll have some cool TCG-exclusives. I was hoping we'd get One-Hundred Eye Dragon when I saw the Dark Synchro stuff, but I guess not. Maybe next set, hmm?

Forrenz - 17. Nov, 03:55

Re: "Majestic Red Dragon"

With that name, they're going to have to add it to the list of "Archfiends" that don't have "Archfiend" in its name :P
ShiroRyu - 17. Nov, 14:23

Demon vs. Dēmon

Actually, no - there's a reason I said "Fiend" and not "Archfiend" - the OCG name for Fiend is demon 「デモン」, while the OCG name for Archfiend is dēmon 「デーモン」.
For some reason, in the OCG, they alternate between dēmon and demon for the two dragons: we have Red Dēmons Dragon 「レッド・デーモンズ・ドラゴン」 and Savior Demon Dragon 「セイヴァー・デモン・ドラゴン」. So Majestic Red Dragon should really be Majestic Fiend Dragon (and so doesn't count as an Archfiend).

At the moment I don't think it'll matter much, but if a card in the future refers to all cards with "Fiend" in their name then it'll have to make an exception for "Majestic Red Dragon".
Forrenz - 19. Nov, 05:29

Oh, really?

I just kinda figured that if was still pronounced "Daemon" in the original version, it was still considered to be a "Daemon" card. I can't read kanji for crap, even my own name, and it's really easy too! LOL
Good to know ;)
sonic_slicer - 18. Nov, 23:36

about f'n time......

we get beforemt and chimera

i would like to see more cards from the yugioh r manga as well as from the oricalcos/kaiba cup saga

*crosses fingers for dark renewal*

Forrenz - 19. Nov, 05:35

Everyone does

It doesn't help if you only read the TCG sites, but yeah, lots of cards from both those arcs should've been made. Like [Diamond-Head Dragon], right? It's a simple enough effect, and not overpowered at all. I don't really see what's stopping them from making it.
Oh well.
I'd like to see the Valkyries be made, and see if they can go toe-to-toe with the more modern cards around, and maybe those "Oracle" Continuous Spells too.
God Lobster - 19. Nov, 11:06

Gravekeeper's^_^

Gravekeeper's? Lobster like the sound of that^_^
If one of those are TCG exclussive I will be more happy. - perhaps a tunermonster?

J4B0i - 20. Nov, 18:48

ya right, like GK's need a Tuner monster to be good. =\

and ShiroRyu: You're a complainer, and complainers get ignored. Stop complaining about the name changes.
ShiroRyu - 21. Nov, 02:21

Actually, if you read my post, you'll have noticed I mentioned that I wasn't going to rant about the name change because complaining isn't going to change anything. My 2nd post was simply to correct Forrenz on the use of demon->Fiend vs. dēmon->Archfiend (and also hopefully inform some other people along the way).

Anyway on the subject of Gravekeper's, I'm fairly sure one of the Gravekeper's is a TCG exclusive, since there are only 3 Gravekeeper's cards in the OCG set, though I doubt it'll be a Tuner. As J4B0i said, Gravekeeper's don't really need a Tuner. I'm not really too fond of this "every archetype needs a Tuner and maybe a Synchro too" stuff because it implies that decks are rubbish unless they have Tuners and Synchros. I am personally hoping for a new Gravekeeper's boss monster (not a bad one like Maximus though lol).
Forrenz - 21. Nov, 17:58

GK Boss monster

The High Priest in this set doesn't count? He kinda fits the bill with how much stronger he is with the more Gravekeeper's monsters you have. Plus he's LV8, so he's got some other back-up too.
ShiroRyu - 22. Nov, 02:23

Oh yeah ^_^;; I thought he was level 6 for some reason (probably the 2000 base ATK). Okay never mind that then lol.
There's no reason to believe it'll be a monster yet either. Notice how they said Gravekeeper's cards, keeping the TCG exclusive from being distinguished as either monster, spell or trap? So it is equally likely to be some sort of spell/trap support at this point I suppose.
Ah well, I at least hope it'll be good support or at least cool-looking, whatever it is.
Forrenz - 22. Nov, 07:22

Possible effect?

Too true, but with the 3 cards we know already, what else could Gravekeeper's guys need? They have a piercer (Spear Soldier), three summoners (Chief, Spy, and their Trap), a direct-damager (Curse), a position-switcher (Assailant), a bouncer (Guard), a hand destroyer (that one spell... man, I'm so bad with names lately), a Field Spell and a monster that grabs it, and now a destroyer (Descendant), a Boss (High Priest) and a replenisher (their new Spell that nabs back two GKs from your Grave). What else could they need?
ShiroRyu - 22. Nov, 16:27

A Solemn maybe? Seems a lot of archetypes are getting their own watered-down Solemn these days.
