The 3 Cards

Fleur Synchron is okay, though will soon be searchable via Tuning, Chevalier de Fluer has a great effect negating a spell or trap once a turn and is made easy with it being Quickdraw-ready. Actually especially good considering one can just slide it into any Quickdraw Dandy deck with no problem, an easier Road Warrior replacement in-game if you can't meet the 2 non requirement. The real prize, though, is Liberation, now 'Liberty at Last'.

"Activate when a monster you control is destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard. Select 2 face-up monsters on the field and return them to their respective owners' Decks."

Easily screws up most OTKs and rushes (minus a JDed field) and is just nice. Only problems is it isn't 'up to 2', so if they have 1 monster, you either have to deck one of your own or just can't use it. But that should change quickly enough not to be a problem.

ShiroRyu - 4. Aug, 13:39

Don't really agree with Liberty at Last. OTKs typically don't destroy monsters through battle while you have a face-down, since it's all too easy to fall easily to Dim Prison, Mirror Force, etc. Any good OTK clears the field first before attacking (through Storm, Trunade, Mist Wurm, JD, Demise, Brionac, etc.), with the exception of Frog OTK which doesn't need to attack.

The second problem I have with Liberty at Last is it requires your monster to die by battle to meet it's requirements. I'd much rather prevent the battle all together and keep my monster, ideally with Mirror Force, Dimension Prison or Book of Moon, even if it means keeping their threats (Threatening Roar) because at least you're maintaining field presence which can lead to a possible synchro etc. OTKs are most often over-extensions, so preventing their shot one turn often leaves them vulnerable (aside from Infernities thanks to Barrier...).

I'm quite interested in the 2 Fleur cards though, as I'm considering building Quickdraw and Fleur de Chevalier would be a good card to run in it due to it's negation.

Is it just me....

...or isn't der any fleur de chevalier on the package?

Tag Force 5

The packaging for the game has the promo cards for Duel Transer - Fighter's Ape, Closer Forest, and Roaring Earth.

ShiroRyu - 10. Aug, 00:29

I was thinking that as well. :s
Lentra - 13. Aug, 02:08

To make things a little more confusing...

The box art for Duel Transer shows the TF5 promos, but the page names the three pictured on TF5's box art.
Wolfgang DelaSangre - 13. Aug, 05:04

Not quite, Lentra

The promos shown on the Duel Transer art are actually the WC10 promos.
Lentra - 13. Aug, 07:31

Good eye.

Wow, you're right... I'm starting to think someone at Konami has a strange sense of humor.... I'm reminded of the posters for Phantom Darkness and the cards shown on it all being Beast-type.
