Carlsbad, CA (February 14, 2008) You aint seen nothing yet! After stunning Duelists around the world last week, Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. (KDE) and Upper Deck Entertainment (UDE) today did it again, by unveiling the brand new prize card for Shonen Jumps 50th Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME (TCG) Championship Tournament. This record-breaking competition will be held at the Orange County Fair and Exposition Center in Costa Mesa, California on March 8-9, 2008.

In honor of the 50th Shonen Jump Championship, KDE and UDE unveils a new Shonen Jump Championship prize card: Doomcalibur Knight! This much desired card will ascend to the Shonen Jump throne, and be awarded not only to the top four finishers in the main event, but also to a lucky Duelist in a side event.

The world learned last week that the Grand Prize winner will receive a playable copy of each previous Shonen Jump prize card: Gold Sarcophagus, Crush Card Virus, Shrink, Des Volstgalph, and the card that started it all, Cyber-Stein. An additional copy will be encased in the Championship trophy.

Winners of Each Event to Participate in Major "TRU Throwdown Championship Tournament" at Toys "R" Us Stores on Saturday, September 8
Upper Deck Entertainment and Toys "R" Us are inviting Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game (TCG) fans from across North America to participate in one of the biggest and exciting in-store retail events, the Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG Toys "R" Us (TRU) Throwdown. UDE and the World's Greatest Toy Store will kick off the event on Saturday, April 7, followed by TRU Throwdown events on Saturday June 2, and the TRU Throwdown Store Championship Tournament on Saturday, September 8.

Each month, Duelists will put their Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG skills to the test when they battle other Duelists throughout the event. The winner from each store will be determined by the highest number of wins during that event and will be named the TRU Throwdown Store Champion for that month. They will then be awarded prizes exclusive to the TRU Throwdown event, which include a self-adhesive Dorm Patch of their choice (three to collect), an "Ojama" Token Card, a GX DVD and a poster featuring well-loved GX monsters.

Every participant of the event will receive an "Ojama" Token Card and a Yu-Gi-Oh! GX poster. In addition to the Token Card and the GX poster, 2nd place winners will receive their choice of a Dorm Patch and a Yu-Gi-Oh! DVD; 3rd place winners will also receive a Dorm Patch of their choice; and the recipient for that month's Sportsmanship Award will receive a Yu-Gi-Oh! DVD.

The top winners from April, May and June's events will then be invited back to their local Toys "R" Us store to participate in the TRU Throwdown Championship Tournament on Saturday, September 8. The players will be required to battle any and all event participants throughout the day. The Duelist with the most wins will be crowned the TRU Throwdown Champion and will be awarded a special championship trophy, along with exclusive TRU Throwdown prizes.
